I work as a fractional CFO and advisor to companies and their owners. Prior to that, I was a seasoned partner in a national public accounting firm with a track record of dependability, accuracy, new ideas, problem solving, and a reputation for integrity.

My specialties include accounting, corporate and individual tax advice, business operations advisory consulting, revenue cycle management, merger and acquisition of independent medical and dental practices, setting up DSO’s and sub-DSO’s, and management service organizations.

I have over 27 years of experience serving independent physician groups, clinics, and multi-location dental practices, DSO’s, and veterinary hospitals.

These services often include reformatting and cleaning up financial statements to conform to industry standards, structuring physician and dentist compensation plans, KPI financial reporting and benchmarking for dentists and physicians, optimizing the revenue cycle, general financial advice as well as ongoing daily management of business issues that clients face.

I take a holistic approach when reviewing a business regarding all aspects of their financials and identifying areas for improvement using key predictive indicators. I work with leadership to create and implement a plan to accomplish their goals.

I also worked as an Executive Director of a non-profit and speaks on entrepreneurship and the 6 key components of a successful business.

Technical Experience & Skills

  • I have a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in accounting from the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire. I’m is a member of the AICPA, WICPA, and past member of RBMA, and MGMA.

  • I have served as Executive Director, volunteer board member, and volunteer dog trainer at Wisconsin Academy for Graduate Service Dogs, Inc. (WAGS).

After years of struggling to find female role models with children in my profession, I turned to personal development experts, books, and coaching for help. My passion is to help other women navigate the stages of their lives, offer support and options, and to mentor women who wish to juggle family and career.

Outside of work my interests and hobbies include health and wellness, water sports, downhill skiing, building homes, real estate, dog training, volleyball, traveling with my family, mindset training, and personal development.
